What We Believe
As teachers and staff of TINY TOTS” I endeavour to do the follo wing in order to make a difference in the lives of the children at our school:
- show the children I love them regardless of their behaviour
- make every child feel wanted
- show respect to every child
- be fair show understanding label children positively (clever/tidy/good/thorough/smiley face etc.)
- teach the children by example:
– right from wrong
– table manners
– social skills
– Bible principles
- build trusting relationships with the parents
- be a person of your word – do what you say you will do
- keep a sense of humor – have fun
- be open to learn new teaching skills
- plan interesting activities
- be loyal to the school and other staff members
- friendly
- take responsibility
Our Education
Our qualified and experienced teaching staff follow the Department of Education curriculum, we do a theme per week including all gross motor skills, brain gym, language, math, science, arts & crafts, perception and music.
Two reports issued annually on Parents Evening.
Special Days: Sportsday, Grandparents Day, Mothers and Fathersday, Carols by Candlelight & Concerts
A music teacher teaches theme related, age appropriate songs on a weekly basis.
FRIDAYS ARE FUN creative activities and puppetshows (refer to year planner).

God has created each child uniquely and they should be treated with respect, dignity and as someone important.
Karina van der Colf
Principal (B.Ed.)
In 2007 Karina van der Colf partnered in the managing of the school. Her experience working at the school since 1996 stand her in good sted. Karina with a B.Ed qualification has since taken over the role as principal. She is energetic and creative and together we form a dynamic team.
